First off, let me just say that writing about yourself is
very HARD, I dare say that this was probably one of the hardest things to do
while putting this blog together. Although I suppose I should start with the
obvious and state that I am a wholly unrepentant fictiophile. I devour books
like nothing else and I thought it was about time for me to do something
productive with my obsession and start this blog.
On top of books and reading
-- video games, writing, cosplay and cats round out some of my more potent
obsessions. Otherwise I've been described as neurotic, eccentric, crazy,
nerdy/geeky, among other things. I'm a twenty something Canadian working
through a English Literature/Sociology double major who is working at a part
time job at some food joint to fund both my schooling and my reading obsession.
In terms of reading, my love for it started when I was very
young and hasn't dulled in the slightest over the years. I read both fiction
and non-fiction titles and pretty much enjoy anything with a good synopsis. My favourite
genre is Speculative Fiction (Urban Fantasy, Dystopian Fiction, Horror, Sci-Fi,
